The site

The site is for looking at Papercoal products and, for India, placing orders. International orders are not checked out on the site; they are quoted by email. We may change or take down pages without notice.

You may not scrape the site, copy product photography or copy to sell your own goods, or interfere with checkout.

Orders

Prices are in INR. Indian GST is included where shown. An order is an offer to buy. We may refuse or cancel it, including if stock is wrong, a price is obviously in error, or we cannot fulfil it.

Payment is taken at checkout for India orders. We do not store full card numbers.

Custom and branded work (Business and Gifting) is quoted, not sold off the shelf. A quote is not a contract until both sides confirm in writing, including email.

Shipping

India orders: shipping is calculated at checkout. Dispatch is from Jodhpur.

International orders: quoted. Courier is DHL Express or FedEx. Transit time is confirmed with the quote. Destination duties, taxes and brokerage are paid by the consignee unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

Samples ship on request, after we have spoken. Full rules are in the Shipping policy.

Damage and faults

If a shipment arrives damaged, email hey@papercoal.com with photos and the tracking number within 7 days of delivery. We will replace or refund at our discretion.

Made-to-order and branded notebooks cannot be returned because you changed your mind. If we made them wrong against the confirmed artwork, we will remake them.

The products

Notebooks are made in Jodhpur. Descriptions are written in good faith. Colour on screen will not match the paper buckram exactly. Size is 206 × 142 × 16 mm unless a page says otherwise.

Photographs, drawings, and text on this site belong to PAPERCOAL LLP. Do not reuse them.

Accounts

A customer account is optional. You are responsible for the email and password on it. Tell us if you think it has been misused.

Liability

We are responsible for delivering the goods you paid for, in the condition described, to the address you gave. We are not responsible for courier delay once the parcel is with them, for destination duties, or for how you use the notebooks.

Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid us for that order.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Jodhpur, Rajasthan have jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms on this page. Continued use of the site after a change is acceptance of the new terms.
